Bicester

recyclingHistorically, Bicester has long been a prosperous town, mainly because of its markets. Traders from a wide surrounding area used to bring sheep and cattle to Bicester, along with other produce, and the town is still known for its excellent links with the rest of Oxfordshire.

This, along with the town’s thriving community and attractive buildings, makes Bicester an interesting and convenient place to live.

One of the most popular attractions is the factory outlet shopping centre at Bicester Village.
The Big Weekend, which incorporates Bicester in Bloom, happens in the summer. It usually includes a fair and stalls from local organisations.

Another regular summer event is the Bicester Carnival, which usually includes music, arena events, stalls, puppet shows and more.
