SPEEDWAY: David will be missed
RACING motor cycles is a very dangerous sport, and this week we saw another fatality when popular Wantage grasstracker David Durham died after a crash at a meeting in Worcester on Sunday.
David was a very keen Cheetahs fan and will be sadly missed both on the terraces and the circuit.
FORMER Oxford junior Chris Johnson has been transferred to the John Radcliffe Hospital.
He suffered severe injuries in a horrendous crash at King's Lynn ten days ago.
THE Support Oxford Speedway and supporters club are organising an end of season party at the Kidlington Green Social Club on Saturday, November 3.
Tickets for the buffet/disco are £12 for adults and £5 for children and will be available at Oxford Stadium tomorrow from any of the SOS/Supporters Club team or from Rob Peasley's track shop.
THE line-up for next year's Grand Prix sees Britain's Chris Harris drafted in as a permanent wild card after just failing to qualify in the top eight.
Full line-up: N Pedersen, L Adams, J Crump, H Andersen, T Gollob, G Hancock, R Holta, S Nicholls, C Harris, A Jonsson, B Pedersen, N K Iversen, L Dryml, K Kasprzak, F Lindgren.
