Eddie lifts British title
Eddie Chambers, of the St Birinus School Club at Didcot, grabbed the glory at the British Junior Championships at Halifax.
The 16-year-old (above left) took the 50kg title with a total of 113kg - consisting of a 51k snatch and a 62kg clean and jerk.
Clubmate Josh Cox (right), 14, was runner-up with 92kg after posting personal bests of 40kg in the snatch and 52 in the clean and jerk.
Peter Dutton (centre), 17, also took second spot for St Birinus after starring in the 69kg category.
He recorded 215kg, with a personal best snatch of 95kg and a clean and jerk of 120kg.
