SCHOOLS' FOOTBALL: John Mason bow out in last eight
 |
| John Mason, Abingdon |
John Mason (Abingdon) bowed out in the quarter-finals of the London round of the PlayStation Schools' Cup under 15 five-a-side tournament at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre.
They reached the last eight by topping Group A with four wins and two draws from their six games, finishing ahead of Hazelwick (Crawley) on goal difference.
But their challenge ended in the quarter-finals when they went down 4-3 to eventual winners Business Academy (Bexley).
It meant they also missed out on a place in the national final with the four semi-finalists returning to Crystal Palace on Monday, April 21.
