Young Joshua Merrett's first light continuous kickboxing title fight ended in disappointment with defeat at Bracknell.
The ten-year-old, a member of Berinsfield Shaolin Tigers Kickboxing Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), came up against the defending five-times title holder from the Combat Academy, Suffolk.
He put up a brave and courageous fight, but just missed out.

In the mixed martial arts competition, similar to cage rage/ufc, Dean Grant beat Berinsfield clubmate Tyson Mitchell in the final.
They booked their places in the decider after winning their earlier contests.
