JOE Roff has had to adapt his game in many ways on joining Oxford University, not least in moving to outside centre.
But he says one of the biggest differences is Oxford's lack of focus on their Varsity Match opponents.
A Dark Blue delegation will visit Cambridge's Grange Road today for the traditional pre-Twickenham challenge and watch them face the Steele-Bodger's XV.
But Roff revealed Oxford had not really discussed their Light Blue rivals.
He said: "That has been one of the strangest things for me.
"Coming from a history of professional rugby, analysis of the opposition players was such a big part of the game.
"But I know absolutely nothing about the Cambridge players."
