BAR BILLIARDS: Nelson on charge
Nelson reached the Buildbase Oxford & District Bar Billiards Association's threes final after an 3-3 aggregate win over Democrats.
Richard Garrett (6,240) put Demos ahead and although Pete Ewins (4,340) levelled, Billy Hill (5,770) restored Demo's lead.
Steven Sheard squared it, before Ewins (8,260) won his second game to put Nelson 3-2 up.
Billy Hill won his last game 5,330-3,690, but fell short.
THE annual finals take place on Saturday at the Gladiators Club (3.30pm).
