HOCKEY: Hawks at the double
Oxford Hawks won two age groups at Rover Oxford's 16th annual festival.
The event was another success, with 82 teams in eight age groups playing 176 games over the weekend at Cokethorpe School and Witney ATP.
Teams as far away as Banbridge, Northern Ireland, and the Wirral took part. Hawks won the under 8 and under 12 (girls) sections.
Reading's Jonty Clark, the England and Great Britain international, presented the trophies.
Overall, local clubs competed well, demonstrating that youth hockey is flourishing in Oxfordshire.
