GOLF: Eales heads field

Three former European Tour winners top the bill when the Jamega Pro Tour gets under way at Magnolia Park on Monday.

Paul Eales, Andrew Sherborne and Mark Mouland, who have over 60 years' combined experience on the main tour, are taking part.

The 18-hole four-ball betterball event will also feature Challenge Tour winners Jamie Elson and Kyron Sullivan.

Local players include Newbury's Witney-based pro Paul Simpson and Magnolia Park's Dusan Gavrilovic.

Eales said: "As well as being the friendliest tour I've come across, the Jamega Tour is a fantastic place to hone your competitive juices.

"Magnolia Park will be a great venue to start the season."

Course entry is free. Pros can register for future events at www.jamegatour.co.uk.
