Rivals set for showdown
A TREMENDOUS climax is building in the race for the Winter League ladies' Premier Section crown.
Leaders and defending champions Shelley Arms C entertained Cowley Workers Club A and ran out convincing 8-1 winners.
But second-placed Lord Nuffield Club stay in contention after coming away from Berinsfield Community Centre B with an identical scoreline.
It leaves them 15 points behind Shelley, but they have played one game fewer, and the two contenders meet in the last two games which will decide the destiny of the title.
