Chinnor FC show no sign of losing their grip at the top, brushing aside Shelley Arms 8-1 in their latest outing.

Alan Syphas got the ball rolling for the hosts, winning with an 27.33 average, and Roy Pryor made it 2-0 before Lyndon Richards put Shelley's only set on the board.

Paul Farnes included two 100-plus finishes as the home side wrapped it up through Jon Jukes, Nick Cobb, Mark Laverack, Peter Rouse and Gary Price.

Three Tuns A were made to fight all the way by Goodlake as they try to keep up pressure on the leaders.

Phil Addison and Paul Freeman got the home side off to a good start before Andy Povey put Goodlake on the board.

Steve Foster restored Tuns' two-set lead, but Andy Wood and Matty Smith levelled the score for the visitors.

Ronnie Anderson and Roger Haines, who had two maximums, sealed victory for Tuns before Mickey Wilkes took the final set for Goodlake.

Shears lost more ground as they suffered a shock 5-4 reverse at home to Three Tuns B.

Mark Burns and Marcus Wright put the visitors 2-0 up and although Dave Exell pulled one back, Joe Haines and Mark Stocker made it 4-1 to Tuns.

Preben Krabben reduced the arrears, but Tuns were not to be denied and Sean Holley sealed their success before Paul Cross and Kevin Wilkins made it 5-4.

Hundred Acres entertained Shelswell and inflicted more misery on the strugglers by winning 8-1. It means Shels- well have won only two sets in their last three outings.

Andy Thomas, Dick Foster, Mark Batsford, Joe Palmer, Chris Webb, Dave Buckingham, Alan Butler and Dave Latty were Acres' winners.

Simon Tricker got the visitors' consolation set, winning the fifth leg with a 125 checkout.

Masons visited White Lion and went down 5-4 in a last-set decider.

Steve Skelton celebrated his call-up to the county squad for the first time as he won the opening set for the hosts, with Tommy Prpa and John Fowler making it 3-0.

Jamie Burke got the visitors off the mark, only for Olly Varney to restore Lion's three-set advantage.

Ade Buckingham, Martin Bull and Phil Busby took the next three for Masons to set up the decider which was won by landlord Paul King.
