GIRLS CRICKET: Last ball defeat for Under 15s
Oxfordshire Under 15s lost a final-ball thriller at Norfolk.
Winning the toss and batting first, Oxon faced only three overs before rain interrupted play.
On the resumption, conditions became difficult, as Oxon posted 105-6 from their 35 overs, Rose Beck top-scoring with 26.
Sam Moore struck early in Norfolk's reply, but a stand of 56 put the home side on track.
It went down to the last over with nine wickets down, but the Norfolk No 11 scrambled a single off the final ball to secure a one-wicket win.
