Radley's women secured promotion back to the Alpha competition as they won the Alpha-Beta Trophy meeting at Lee Valley in London on Saturday.

After last season's relegation to the Beta competition, Radley showed their class in this meeting, with the under 15s coming second and the senior women winning their match to secure the Beta Trophy.

In the under 15 competition, there were personal bests for Emma O'Hara in the discus (23.19m) and the shot (8.41m), while Sophie Henderson threw 6.98m in the B string shot - another personal best.

Jess East clocked 5.35.12 in the 1500m, while Sara Elkirate crossed the line in 2.41.41 in the 800m.

In the senior women's B string 800m, Jenna Grace knocked off almost ten seconds off her personal best, clocking 2.51.8.

Result: 1 Radley 315pts, 2 Havering 285, 3 Thurrock 260, 4 Victoria Park 222, 5 Loughton 191, 6 Thames Valley 162, 7 Kingston 131, 8 Chelmsford 99.
