Headington Roadrunner Marie-Anne Fischer completed two multi-terrain races in 24 hours over the weekend.
On Saturday, she clocked 2hrs 30mins 15secs in the Orion 15 around Epping Forest in Essex, a muddy and arduous race, before tackling the Combe Gibbet 16-mile race on Sunday, where she crossed the line in 2.48.36.
VETERAN Woodstock Harrier Robin Gardner continued his comeback after several years out through injury by competing in the Crawley six-hour race.
This was his first track race for 11 years, and he finished in fourth place, covering a distance of 40 miles 977 yards.
The race was won by Jeremy Mower, from Gloucester, who completed a distance of 46 miles.
