Death crash teen still in hospital

A teenager injured when a car collided with a group of pedestrians leaving one of them dead, remains in hospital today.

Ben Thompson, 18, was seriously injured after the incident involving a black Renault Clio on the A338 between East Hanney and Frilford in the early hours of Saturday.

He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and remains in a stable condition.

Jonathan Diliberto, 22, of Gardiner Close in Abingdon, died in the accident.

Police are still appealing for anyone with information to contact officers on 08458 505505 or 0800 555 111.
