Sisters give up chocolate for Lent
 |
| Marica Breakspear-Reading, top, and her sister Lauren tuck in as Lent ends |
Sisters Marica and Lauren Breakspear-Reading were able to gorge themselves on chocolate after giving up the sweet stuff for Lent, for the third year running.
For 40 days and 40 nights, Marica, 10, and Lauren, eight, from Berinsfield, have resisted the temptation to tuck into their favourite confectionery - despite pressure from the rest of the family who continued to enjoy chocolate during the period of abstinence.
Grandmother Linda Breakspear, 48, from Kidlington, said: "I'm really proud of them. They are good kids and they have stuck by the rules."
