A female cyclist injured in a collision with a lorry is in a critical condition, a Thames Valley Police spokesman has confirmed.
The woman, in her early 30s, collided with the lorry on the A420 at Headington Hill at about 3.30pm today.
She was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment, and the road has been closed in both directions.
The police spokesperson said the road was expected to be reopened by 8.30pm.
