Police link house burglaries

Police have linked two house burglaries in north Oxfordshire.

Jewellery and cash were stolen from a house in The Lane in Fritwell, near Bicester, after burglars broke in between 8.15am and 4pm on Wednesday, April 30.

Police today appealing for information about three men seen in a neighbour's drive at around 2.30pm that afternoon.

One was described as 6ft, in his late teens or early 20s, with short blond hair and wearing a pale blue shirt. The others were white, with dark hair.

A metallic blue car was also seen parked in nearby May Close with a possible 04 registration number, a police spokesman said.

Between 2.30pm and 10.40pm on the same day a house in South View, in nearby Ardley, was broken into and cash and clothing stolen.

Anyone with information should call police on 08458 505505 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
