Fatal crash: man arrested

A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a fatal collision in Arncott, near Bicester, last month.

The 42-year-old man has been arrested and bailed until May 9.

The collision happened at about 6.50am on Friday, March 28, on the Murcott Road near Oakview caravan site.

A green Rover 420 travelling in the direction of Horton-cum-Studley left the road and two men in the vehicle were both badly injured.

One of the passengers, 71-year-old James Connors, of Murcott Road, Arncott, later died in Banbury's Horton Hospital on Thursday, April 3.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact Bicester Roads Policing on 0845 8 505 505 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
