I have just received a letter from Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg urging me to apply for a postal vote at the Henley by-election and to return the application form to the Liberal Democrats in Oxford.
Given the recent scandals about the misuse of the postal voting system by other political parties, I am astonished and very disappointed that the Lib Dems have descended into the same murky depths of electoral manipulation.
It is therefore with regret that I shall no longer be voting for them at any future election.
