All in a line

I wrote to you about the withdrawal of the No 10 bus service from Littlehay Road and Rymers Lane at Cowley, Oxford, leaving Florence Park estate virtually without a bus service and taking away a lifeline from many elderly residents (Oxford Mail, April 10).

A few days ago, at the junction of Clive Road and Oxford Road, three buses lined up at the bus stop heading towards Oxford, Nos 1, 5 and 10.

I wonder if anyone can tell me the logic in that, after leaving Florence Park without a bus service. Huge lorries travelling along Rymers Lane cause much more disruption than a few single decker buses.

I sent a letter to Stagecoach. I am still awaiting a reply.

The single-decker buses should be able to go along Rhymers La if huge lorries can.
