Was it right for Oxford's so-called 'hamburger' Green Road roundabout to win an award as being a design classic?

Doesn't add up

I retired early and my employer's pension falls rather short of the break-even point regarding Gordon Brown's changes to the old 10p and 22p tax rates. I am, therefore, among the quite large group of tax losers.

Also, because I am retired and under 60 I do not qualify for tax credits or winter fuel allowance.

Isn't it simply astonishing that Gordon Brown now admits he is so innumerate that he had no idea so many people would be affected by his own tax changes?
