Like Bea Bradley (Oxford Mail, January 5), I and the rest of the silent majority were led to believe that hunting with dogs had been banned.
It is despicable to witness how the rich and powerful minority can control the media to make the masses believe what they want.
The same happened in Nazi Germany and proves that today, here in England, we do not live in a democracy.
Like Tony Anchors's letter on the same page, his prophecies for 2008 have already taken place, especially the invisible police state where the criminals are free and only the political protester is condemned for daring to question police authority, the theory being that a nation in fear is a nation under control.
The despots of Africa had a good training ground in England.
