I read with disgust that an elderly lady was mown down in Cornmarket by an idiot cyclist breaking the law (Oxford Mail, August 2). It's a pity no-one caught him.
Can I therefore ask councillor Dhall and Mrs Woodin get their supporters in the Pedestrian Society and their fellow lobby members to protest in Cornmarket Street and Queen Street, stopping these idiots from using the streets between10.30am and 5.30pm?
Perhaps councillor Dhall would also like to put a motion to the county council asking for a complete ban on cyclists riding through pedestrian areas at any time.
