Police will be patrolling a nature reserve tonight exactly a week after a teenage girl was raped and her friend sexually assaulted.
The two 16-year-old girls were in Cuttle Brook Nature Reserve last Saturday between 8.30pm and 9.30pm when they were assaulted.
The first attacker is described as 5ft 9ins, in his early twenties, had broad shoulders and well built arms with a fat waist, short, light brown hair which was gelled into spikes.

The other man is white, around 6ft, and was slimmer than the first man and has dark gelled hair.
Anyone with information should speak to police on 08458 505505 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
What is the point of the police broadcasting the fact that they are mounting an operation. They stick signs out saying 'police operations in progress'or give the Oxford Mail details of it. WHAT IS THE POINT? If they are trying to reassure the public stick a Chap with a helmet on his head in the neighbourhood! or are they saying look, we don't normally do this sort of thing but we are now, for a few days at least! I DON'T SEE THE LOGIC BEHIND THE THINKING!!! Is it that they want the offenders to say sod this lets go and find somewhere else to do the job, possibly in another police area.

WHAT IS THE POINT OF THE POLICE BROADCASTING THIS TYPE OF INFORMATION I fail to see the logic. Its like when they put up a sign saying 'Police Operation in Progress'.
AM I BEING THICK OR HAVE I TOTALLY MISSED THE REASONING BEHIND THIS THINKING?

Ah but that's what they want.
By announcing it publicly, the message will be sent and all the scum will stay away from the area.
No scum in the area, no need to patrol. No need to patrol, more tea and bikkies at HQ. Money saved all round.
Dannyboy will be doing handstands at the ingenuity of it all.

You fella's need to make a study of those who have made a study of the criminal mind.
Such a study means you will know the criminal often returns to the scene of the crime,to gloat.
This is especially true of politcal mass murderers who do so,usually televised,to antagonise their enemies and flaunt their haughty power.
In the case of a retarded sex offender they may need prompting.
