Drivers and passengers were treated for minor injuries this morning when a coach and a car collided at Oxford's busiest roundabout.
The accident happened shortly after 7am at the Green Road roundabout in Headington - known as the Hamburger because the London route goes through the middle.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance said paramedics were called to the crash and treated a number of people at the scene. No-one needed hospital treatment.
I drove past that crash this morning. The problem on this roundabout is that approaching from the east 2 lanes become 3, the 1st 2 lane are for the first 3 exits but people use the middle one to undertake all the traffic on the 3rd lane going north on the A40.
It looked like this had happened this morning. I see it every single morning.

I use this roundabout at least twice every day at rush hour(s). It's a miracle we see as few accidents as we do. My bugbear is the blatent disregard for the correct lane and the last minute changing of lanes to compensate. I see narrow misses nearly every day. I myself have almost been hit from the side twice in recent months.

I\'m not surprised, too many drivers (including bus drivers) seem to think it\'s OK to carry on through amber lights. An amber light means STOP![/quote] I hope you havent got a license mate because you clearly don't know your highway code! Amber means "prepare to stop" (unless flashing). I think you'll find that the colour for STOP is RED!
If people stopped at amber lights there would be a new accident at the hamburger every 10 minutes!

Another example of un-informed spouting off!
