Oxford-based charity Oxfam has launched a chain of upmarket boutiques to sell designer gear at discount prices.
Their store in Westbourne Grove, London, has been given a dramatic makeover and big-name designers including Stephen Jones and Christopher Kane have created one-off pieces from items they found in Oxfam shops.
Further boutiques are to open in Chelsea and Chiswick and Sarah Farquhar, head of retail at Oxfam, hopes to open a national network of up to 25 of the shops within two years, with one possibly in Oxford.
