Power cut hits Oxford homes
Thousands of homes across the Headington and Cowley areas Oxford are without power this evening.
Following a failure on one of the main networks at about 4.45pm, 2,000 homes have been left without any electricity.
A spokesman for Southern Electric said a repair team had been sent to investigate the problem and apologised for any inconvenience it was causing to residents.
