Goodwill
It doesn't surprise us that someone has come forward to help pensioner Fred Edwards.
Oxford Mail readers have a long history of helping the elderly and disabled, who become victims of callous thieves.
Mr Edwards is no exception. An anonymous reader has come forward and given £250 to replace the money stolen from the 92-year-old by a raider, who ransacked his home.
Mr Edwards had devoted his life to helping others, by fostering more than 70 children.
His benefactor has proved there is still plenty of goodwill in this world.
