Shame on the thug who raided the home of 92-year-old Frederick Edwards.
Mr Edwards has spent a lifetime as a foster parent, helping more than 70 children to a better start in life that they could otherwise have expected.
And how is he repaid for his sterling efforts over many years?
His home is ransacked by a lout, who has nothing better to do with his time than pick defenceless old people to rob.
Every 92-year-old deserves to be allowed to spend their remaining years in peace, particularly someone who has contributed so much to society.
Family and friends in Abingdon must know who committed this crime, and we hope they will come forward and tell the police.
This good-for-nothing, who will never match what Mr Edwards has achieved, deserves to be locked up.
