Croydon Under 15s got off to a great start in the second of the two postponed matches at Croydon Athletic on Thursday, but could not stop a superior Woking side lifting the Surrey Schools' U15 Invitation Cup Final.
Things looked good for Croydon when Robert Wingfield (Ashburton) put them a goal up inside the first minute of this postponed final.
But although Croydon held their lead at half-time the visitors, Woking Schools, were good value for their win, and scored four second half goals.
Croydon Schools Football Association's Under 15s travel to Crowborough on Saturday (September 29th) to take on Ouse Valley Schools in the first round of the English Schools' Football Association's Wizards Trophy.
The match is being played at The Beacon School's ground, kick-off: 10.30am. Coach departs 8.30am. from outside Fairfield, Croydon.
