Car park fall man is named

A 51-year-old man found dead at the foot of an Oxford car park has been named.

Colin Vincent Barry, of Foxborough Road in Radley, died after falling from the car park opposite Templars Square shopping centre in Cowley, Oxford, shortly before midday on Sunday.

Police closed Beauchamp Lane for around three hours while paramedics attended Mr Barry who was pronounced dead on arrival at the John Radcliffe Hospital.

An inquest into the cause of his death is due to be opened and adjourned later today.
