Police are treating a fire at a home in Oxford this morning as suspicious.
Fire crews were called to tackle a blaze in an annexe of a house Holley Crescent in Headington at around 8.30am.
An elderly woman was rescued from the house and treated by paramedics.
Scenes of crimes officers are currently at the scene after fire crews raised the alarm fearing the cause of the blaze was suspicious.
A spokesman for the fire service refused to comment on why it is being treated as suspicious.
Police spokesman Claire Gourlay said the cause of the fire is being investigated.
