Brazilian man feared missing

A 48-year-old man is feared missing from the Cowley area of Oxford.

Police are concerned for the safety of Orlando Rodrigues, a Brazilian national who does not speak English and does not know the area.

He was last seen at about 5.30pm yesterday leaving Napier Road, where he had been staying with family.

Police described him as slim and 5ft 2ins tall.

He has short black hair and a dark moustache.

He was wearing a pair of jeans and a beige jacket - and was ride a pink bike.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact police on 0845 8 505505 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

I have it from a reliable source that 80% of Brazilians in Oxford are visa over-stayers and another 5% are Brazilian citizens who entered the U.K on false Portuguese passports.

I knew some oldies who came back from Spain and their excuse was....."all of our friends spoke english so why should we have spoken Spanish."
