Sorry, I meant Anne and Ian, I was so upset at the comments thinking about my little ones burning to death.

Well if the gyppos will steal cable and burn off the insulation so they can sell it to scrap metal dealers...what do you expect? If you have noticed and accrid smell from Redbridge area, that's exactly what they're doing.

These theiving vermin need to be exterminated.

I can sympazise with the lady worried about her family, but I hope she can understand most people in Redbridge Hollow only create discomfort and to the locals with their behaviour and attitude. If they were to be more respectful to all others there would be much less animosity, I am sure.
I have seen youths from the Hollow (I have seen then walk back to the Hollow)leaving cars to burn under the bridge going into Kennington after having stloen them (this is only an assumption).
It seems you feel you can do whatever you want the the laws that were put in place for the civic well-being do not apply to you.
Do you really feel the above comments to be unjust?

Who do you think you are trying to fool?,

You cannot be robbing scum 99% of the time and then expect to be treated well the other 1% of the time.

You deserve everything you get......scum.

I am a Mother of a young family, I work, I pay my taxes, I have never broken the law and even if I had does that justify comments wanting to exterminate, burn out or bomb fellow human beings and young children? I am truly shocked at anyone advocating this sort of inhuman behaviour that belongs in another time in history. Of course it is a well known fact that people from the settled community don't break the law, it says so everyday in the Oxford Mail.

I think Bob was correct.I do not believe you contribute to society.I have never known a "traveller" to pay taxes or have a job.Your whole philosophy in life is to be devious and gain from other peoples suffering.

you are even lying here.

And again the case for William Hazlitt vs the residents of Oxford was proven.

I know quite a few gypsy families and the vast majority are no different to you and I.

Yes there are bad apples (usually youngsters) but to lay the blame on the whole of a community is pure irrational fascism. But then we are talking Oxford.

The residents of which clearly regret the ending of witchburning. Such primeavel thinking being given a "respectable" gloss of course.

Incidentally, it wasnt a "rubbish" fire but a good one.

And those who burn out cars on estates? But who are not gypsies? Is their behaviour any better?

To them ,you and i are nothing but stupid "Buffers"(settled fools).

Alan
Whilst I admire your baiting of some of the more ignorant contributers to this site I think that taring all of us in Oxfordshire with the same brush is a little like their portrail of the whole of the traveller comunity as thieves and rogues. We are not all the same. As for the fires they are a pain and the situation needs to be addressed. It is not fair that people living in the area should have to put up with this. The proper people to do this are the Thames Valley Police and they should act as a matter of urgency.
The genocide suggested by some in these pages is a disgrace and if left unchallanged would make me ashamed to call myself British. So well done for speaking out and I support you in doing so

Well perhaps if the exceptions to the rule started making their voices a little clearer and stopped allowing the reputation of oxford to be tarnished by cretins I might cut a little slack. I am merely applying the same rules to them as they apply to others.

At the moment it seems that the whole of Oxfordshire supports the narrow minded racist xenophobic bullshit that infects this site.

As much as I recognise that demonising and attacking anything that isn't white, middle class, intellectually vacuous and generally mediocre is the bourgeois way of perpetuating their comfort inducing delusions (which border on the psychotic)it reflects badly on the county in general.

Yeah, yeah yeah.
The same experience that says that all "wogs" are wifebeaters, everybody on council estates are dole scroungers, and seeks to denegrate all groups of people other than drug dealers who you bastards believe should be canonised.

Pull the other one.

On the question of the fires. According to todays "Indie" incendiary attacks on Gypsy sites are increasing throughout Europe. Rather like those on Mosques.

For some strange reason everyone's e-mail address has come up on the screen under their posts! I think I'll be forwarding a few to the CRE and the Police as we are classed as a race and am positive many of these comments would come under a breach of the Race Relations Act

Oh, I intend to. People here are so civilised, intelligent and open minded.

Why I would want to associate with a cowardly, anonymous bunch of druggy knuckledragging taxfiddlers anyway?

"Arrrr, this be for local people only, we don't likes them foreigners round these parts Arrrrr"

Pathetic yokels.
