MORE than 800 people attended a remembrance ceremony for loved ones and absent friends at St Christophers Hospice, last Sunday (December 10).
The remembrance tree in the grounds of the hospice in Laurie Park Road, Sydenham, was decorated with lights which were sponsored in memory of those who have died.
Sponsorship has topped last year by more than £4,000 with a total of more than £26,000 raised for the hospice which will help fund the dedicated and compassionate care the hospice gives to the terminally ill.
