HISTORY in the making
Chiltern Open Air Museum, run by an independent charity, is open to the public every day from March 21 t October 31 (2008 season). The enclosed 45-acre countryside site contains more than 30 historic buildings furnished as homes and places of work, and offers a wide range of activities and events, all providing a wonderful day out for schools, groups and families Visiting schools and groups can choose from more than 30 workshops. These are available to pre-book for nursery aged children right through to higher education students, and are ideal for scout or guide groups or even as a birthday treat. This year, the museum also has a range of new and exciting activity sessions, including story-based workshops for early years and1940s workshops for key stage two. Video conferencing is now available fo key stage two and three pupils
