Final section of school panorama

This is the fourth and final section of the panoramic picture taken at Headington Secondary School in Oxford.
It was sent in by Pauline Barrett, of Bicester, and shows pupils and staff in 1954. Mrs Barrett, whose maiden name was Atkinson, hopes it will bring back plenty of memories among readers who attended the school at the time.
As we recalled, the school - often called Margaret Road School - opened in 1936 under headmaster Cyril Eason, known as Sammy, who stayed in charge for 26 years.
