FREEFALL: Ken Pater hurtles to the ground in a tandem sky-dive which the great-grand-father took down 12,000 feet for charity. Mr Pater, 68, of Timber Close, Chislehurst, decided to do a tandem sky-dive earlier this month to raise money for mental health charity Mind. He said he was "thankful" to have both feet back on solid ground but also grateful to the amount of support he received, having raised more then £2,000. Mr Pater, who works part-time in an estate agents in Blackheath decided to raise money for the cause after discovering his older sister has dementia.
A goal in each half from Barry Quinn and Phil Trainer brought Oxford United victory in a tense and exciting clash at the Kassam Stadium.
